i cant afford a good chest key like a FoW because of the lack of drops..I only gain money off runs and i need to dual to get to droks.. and anyway I use that gold for a quick shield or wep
I currently have a chaos axe with hp+29 and a shadown shield armor 16 +29hp while enchanted ive afforded all that with one droks run btw what is a ORO farm? I do farm solo ALOT i just quit I hate it I have farmed rankor ettins all those good places and yet no monster has dropped a gold or black dye or any of the, you know, GOOD STUFF. It's mainly luck; and you're not the only one..
I haven't found anything decent in the past month.. and I've never had a black dye drop for me.. "ORO farming" is where usually a 5 man group go do the Orozar quest in Sorrow's Furnace. You battle many bosses that potentially drop green items. |

if you want some gold drops, go to prophet's path at augury rock.. farming minotaurs, rockshot devourers and griffons there and i guarantee you will get some good drops there. its probably best if you solo farm there.. anyway i normally get around 2k in gold as well as about another 2k in items each farm i do there if i clear it out completely. Good luck

People say this...but griffions reptitively drop crap golds 2 and 3 a run(see above)...and people wonder why the 55 monk bot really exists.

Playing since retail release, with four fully leveled characters ... it is true that drops are not as good as they were at retail release and for a while afterwards. I have four black dyes, all of them fell within the first month of play. Some silvers since then, no more blacks.
I'm still using the axe I found on a mission with my warrior, my first character. Haven't seen a gold axe that even comes close since then. I do get gold drops rarely, lots of purples, none of them worth much. The green items in the footprint and in SF are about the best you are going to get reliably in PvE. |

There are innumerable farming locations, and a corresponding innumerable amount of threads on farming here on guru and elsewhere.
Pick one, any one. Spend a bit of time, and do a few runs. Even the mindless griffon run outside of augury should net you close to 1k a trip, each trip for a wa/mo or a 55 monk takes between 5-10 minutes, perhaps less for a wa/mo. It doesn't take any skill or realistically any luck to gather up some cash; it's simply a matter of patience and time spent. After half and hour, you can essentially buy yourself some black dye, if that's what you're after. To get rare items, as noted above, use your farming money and buy a few keys. Use the keys in Sorrows, Perdition Rock, South Shivers, Tombs, UW, and FoW. Even doing a mission anywhere after ascension should net you out 1k or so in materials. How anyone can say with a straight face that they have 400 gold on an end-game character is beyond me. Spend 5 minutes and kill a few things for heaven sakes. |
